I asked for a clarification from Mike Doyle of Doyle Raizner about whether Col Gentry was apart of the suit against KBR. His response was:

“Jim did join in the suit earlier this year (he was not one of the original plaintiffs and when he gave his first deposition last December he was not a party) after he saw more of the documentation and testimony about what KBR’s managers knew and when they knew it.”

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Gentry family. It is because of men like this that we live in a free country. A warm thank you for serving your country and paying the ultimate price. It is shameful that a company operating in what should be the best interest of our troops and country caused the needless illness that resulted in his death. Hopefully his actions in making others aware of the dangers that they were exposed. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of this Fallen Hero. He died in the line of duty in a combat situation (although it was delayed) just like my late older brother who died of Agent Orange years after his exposure while on a River Boat in Vietnam for 2 years.
Lt. Col. Gentry is a Hero to me and I am proud of the men and women who serve our country to keep us free.
KBR – Isn’t it time You Step Up to the Plate and do the Right Thing for a Change? Start becoming an IMAGE CHANGER – accept your past regressions, admit your wrong doings, pay the price – aren’t you willing to pay the price like our young men and women and civilians are paying each day that serve in the fight against terror? I am truly sorry that this Hero and so many others have and will pay the price for what KBR allows to happen on a daily basis.

I would like to send my most sincere condolences to the family of LTC Gentry. Thank You does not seem to be enough for what your whole family has gone through. I would like to thank your family for his service and his devotion to his soldiers and his country. These will never be forgotten!!
