I’m not sure why I didn’t find this earlier. Better late than never. I think I want to move to Minnesota!! I just love Senator Al Franken (D-MN).
Again I am listing the 30 Senators who voted “NO” on this Amendment and in essence voted “YES” to rape. Rape does not occur to just women in Iraq. There have been many an instance where men have been raped as well. Even the military statistics are 1 in 3 women and 1 in 10 men will be sexually assaulted while in the military. I do not believe it is unreasonable to conclude these statistics could be applied to DoD contractors in a war zone. Maybe we should send these Senators or their family members to Iraq to work for KBR. I bet their tune would change then!

Whew. Ohio lookin’ good! Thanks for the list!
Sen. Al Franken was in Iraq and Afghanistan in 03 and 04 as part of the USO tour. He commented after eating at the DFAC in Kandahar during his shtick, he didn’t think Bush had an exit strategy either. Hillary Clinton had Thanksgiving dinner with her entourage minus “Slick Willy” in Kandahar as well.
