There is no doubt in my mind that KBR knowingly exposed their own employees and our troops to this well known toxic chemical. But that is just my personal opinion!! What is yours?

Copy-That!!!
KBR Corporate in Houston also many I met in Iraq
Ms Sparky’s Response:
I just hate to be “all inclusive” whith KBR employees. They have some very good people who have and are still working for them. It’s primarily management.

I agree whole-heartedly with you Mssparky!!! I would like to mention one by name if I might?
Charles Sykes/Trans. Mgr.@ T.Q. I found him to be honorable, able to help any person who asked, and well liked by many. He was actually on the Marine side, and I won’t mention the one for the Army side!!

Whatever happened to adequate training for our military… they enter situations every day where their health or life is in jeopardy? A simple 24-hour long Hazmat course would prevent a lot of this nonsense.

Stay said,on September 18th, 2009 at 12:53 pm Whatever happened to adequate training for our military… they enter situations every day where their health or life is in jeopardy? A simple 24-hour long Hazmat course would prevent a lot of this nonsense.

All the training and protective gear in the world will not prevent exposure when information is not disclosed or when it is intentionally kept from the people being exposed. Both soldiers and civilians have testified that they were told their symptoms were a result of the desert climate or that the “dust” later determined to be sodium dichromate was a “mild irritant” — No Worries, Keep Working, Our Bottom Line Depends On It
Ms Sparky’s Response:
This is true. Initial concerns by everyone, were downplayed and disregarded. I would even goes as far as assuming they were down right out lied to!
