I am a little bit superstitious, thanks to my Grandma, and she always told me to never speak ill of the dead. You never know when they are listening.
Maybe this is your Mother’s way of letting you know she is still here and she can hear everything you are saying about and to her….
Just be grateful there wasn’t a bar of soap out there…:-)

Thanks for sharing. My parents taught me if you don’t have something nice to say about someone, it’s best to not say anything at all. Perhaps your mother wanted to send you the message to be mindful of what you say about others including the dead.

And FYI-That whole blog post was a compliment to my Mother. But not knowing her, you wouldn’t have known that. And….my mother’s maiden name was Farmer. Maybe we’re actually related!
