DCMA bears an equal responsibility for all those electrocution deaths. Qualified [Emphasis] Quality Assurance Representatives were the responsibility of DCMA to get on the ground and to conduct whatever industrial checks that normally would be BEFORE signing off and letting KBR put a project involving electrical into the pay basket for the month.
My experience there was that DCMA was understaffed and when you brought them an obvious KBR failure, like delivering and dumping sewage in trucks marked Drinking Water, the Commanders shamefully didn't act and in fact even covered up for KBR. Either they were hoping for a job from them, were totally incompetent or Cheney really was telling them to kiss KBRs ASS.
This is what Mrs Harris should know - DCMA failed to conduct the final QAR with a Qualified Electrician. DCMA failed.

Bless this woman, such a horrible thing to face, but then to continue to face it day after day after day by holding KBR accountable. The kind of bravery this woman has makes it easy to see where her son's got it from.

My better half works is Safety/Hazmat for URS right now and its stupid pointless deaths like these that are going to send her to an early grave from working to death. It's beyond shameful that KBR ALLOWED this to happen. I watch her work 16, sometimes 19 hours a day for 3 years now and it's hard, but knowing that she is over there and is ACTIVELY preventing things like this makes me so proud.

Keep fighting the good fight guys, for every corrupt money grubbing contract there is a hardworking genuinely caring one who knows how important their job is.

I think that you need to stop and think about who is at fault here. Don't get me wrong...KBR should be held accountable for their mistakes but as for your son's death take a look at the employees who conducted the inspections and never completed follow up inspections which is a required. Those are the people that should suffer. I have personally have worked with KBR and all procedures are cut and dry.
