Most kids try that at least once in their life. I think the stern talking to probably took care of the problem.... I remember taking a piece of gum from our local store and my Grandma Brown caught me and marched me right back into the store with my ear in her hand and made me tell the manager what I did and made me pay for the gum and then she wouldn't let me have it.
