Well I’ve finally given in and decided to join the blogger community. I am 47, a journeyman electrician (hence the nickname Ms Sparky), a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I have worked in Antarctica, Iraq and China. I have traveled to Chile, Thailand, Turkey and Egypt. I have tons of pics. So I will be blogging about that.
My daughter and only child Tiffany is currently incarcerated in Oregon and will be until December 2011. Boy, will I be blogging about that!!! Damn Meth.
I have custody of my five year old grandson Keelen. What a change that was for me. Unlimited blogs about that adventure!!
Tiffany was pregnant when she got arrested and I was in Iraq. So, we decide it would be best to adopt the baby out. My youngest grandson Ethan has been adopted by a very loving couple. It is a great arrangement, they bring him to see Tiff and we get together. I am still his grandma. Woo Hoo. What a cutie. More stuff to blog about.
My husband Cal is wonderful and I am very lucky. He works out of town. He flies out on Mondays and flies in on Fridays. We talk a lot on the phone. This arrangement has it’s ups and downs, but we make it work. After being in Iraq for two years, at least we are in the same country and see each other on weekends. It’s all a matter of perspective. I will say…..we don’t fight a lot!! Not much to blog about here.
I am passionate (obsessed) about home safety and home emergency preparedness. I will have useful relative information on my page about personalized 72-Hour kits, Grab and Go kits, safety tips, where to find stuff and other useful information. I’m not going to sell anything. I just want to help people get ready in case of an earthquake, storm, flood or worse.
I am clearly an alpha female and very independent. I think I’m funny….I crack myself up all the time. I have an opinion on everything. I guess I tend to be more conservative the older I get. I love Glenn Beck…what does that tell you?
Right now I have a mouse (or mice) in my house. That is my current rant. I will definitely be blogging (ranting) about that. (Anyone have a flame thrower?)
